When the head feels invaded
There are days when you feel your head invaded.
Repetitive thoughts that are not really yours. Inner voices of people who have passed through your life and stayed there taking up space. Invisible ties to past moments that no longer serve you. A sense that you carry something you didn't ask to carry.
You are okay. This is not illness. It is accumulated energy — yours, others', from old situations — that needs to be released.
I want to share with you a simple exercise to make conscious energetic cuts, using only your hands and your intention.
What an energetic cut is
It is not mysticism. You don't have to believe in chakras or entities for this to work.
An energetic cut is a conscious act of freeing yourself.
The physical gesture (your hand making a scissor motion) + the verbal intention (clear phrases of release) + the visualization (you see threads being cut) create, together, a real reorganization of your nervous, emotional, and energetic system.
Neuroscience recognizes the power of gesture + visualization + voice in parallel. Ancient spiritual traditions have recognized it for millennia. You will recognize it when you feel it.
When to use
- When your head is in loops of thought you can't stop
- After a conversation that left you heavy
- When an old relationship still pulls at you
- In important life transitions
- Before making important decisions
- Whenever you feel "this isn't me, this is in me but it's not mine"
The exercise — step by step
1. Find your space
Sit somewhere you feel safe. Feet on the ground if possible. Three deep breaths.
2. Initial position
Left hand over your heart — touch the chest. This hand stays steady.
The right hand will be the one that cuts.
3. The cutting gesture
With the right hand, extend two fingers: the index and the middle finger.
A scissor shape. As if you were going to cut something invisible in the air.
4. Where to cut
Move the right hand in front of your body (about four fingers away, without touching):
- Top of the head — invasive thoughts
- Between the eyebrows — limited vision from the past
- Throat — words you swallowed
- Chest — old emotional ties
- Pit of the stomach — fears absorbed from others
- Belly — deep wounds
- Back — the weight of others you carry
At each area, make the scissor gesture. Slow, conscious.
5. The words
As you cut, say (out loud or mentally):
Energetic cut.
I release myself.
I am free to think. I am free to create.
I release myself from all the ties of my past.
From this day forward I walk only on paths that allow me to grow in harmony.
6. The visualization
See the threads being cut — thin or thick, white or dark. Each gesture releases one more.
Closing the session
When you feel that's enough:
- Rest your hands in your lap
- Clap three times with courage
- Rub your hands against each other (5 seconds)
- Hug yourself — pass your hands along your arms, your torso, with tenderness
- Visualize yourself in your place of peace (beach, forest, home)
- Drink water
- Thank yourself
There is no rigid rule
It can be 3 minutes. It can be 15. It can be on waking, at night, in the middle of the day.
If your hands get tired, stop. If you feel emotion rising, let it. The body knows.
The gift is in you
This exercise demands nothing beyond you.
You don't need crystals. You don't need a master. The energetic cut is done by you. With your courage. With your intention.
"This gift is in you. It is in you, it is in everyone. Just allow yourself to awaken with courage and clarity."
When it's not enough
There are moments when working alone is not enough — deeper wounds, traumas with layers. It's all right.
Seeking help is not failure. It is practical intelligence.
Consider an energy therapist (reiki, radionic table), psychologist, medical support — according to what you feel.
The combination of you + someone experienced accelerates the process.
